Technicians / ServiceWe are looking for an WHP Jacket CSR for one of our clients with the following details:
Start date: 01-OCT-2024
End Date: 30-SEP-2026
Location: Doha/China
Work status: Residential, Single
ACTIVITIES
- To promote & comply with applicable safety instructions and other COMPANY HSE procedures in all activities,
- To carry out work in compliance with COMPANY values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed COMPANY priorities and objectives, COMPANY standards and procedures and good industry practices.
- To treat all information obtained during course of the work with confidentiality.
- To define (with Head of Construction) and manage an organization to cover all construction on contractor construction yard.
- Ensure that all members of the team are aware that in addition to safety, quality and good engineering practice, planning, meeting deadlines and cost must be a permanent concern.
- To ensure timely review of construction documentation to identify clashes/conflicts,
- To anticipate the offshore activities and ensure Contractor starts in due time onshore preparation of the critical offshore activities,
- In case of drift in schedule, liaise with Head of Construction to study remedial actions,
- Promote a "no change policy" to meet budget and schedule constraint without impairing quality and safety of the construction activities,
- To manage assistance from discipline specialists, when required during all phases,
- To encourage identification of any optimization / improvement during construction phase,
- To ensure that technical queries are reviewed and responded to in a timely manner,
- To manage potential deviations from COMPANY referential with Engineering Coordinator for final decision on whether to implement,
- To ensure and liaise with engineering to get sufficient support to construction teams as and when required,
- To promote alternatives solutions to reduce and to optimize the duration for offshore installation,
- To ensure close coordination within team on all engineering, constructability and T&I matters,
- To ensure that relevant feedback from previous similar projects is considered project works performance,
- To setup and manage weekly meetings with Contractor(s) counterpart and call for a specific meeting when needed and report all activities of all disciplines to head of Construction.
- To ensure Company participation in Audit/inspections at subcontractor/vendor premises as required
- To review and pre-approve contractor progress report before Head of Construction.
- To identify deficiencies and anticipate in developing solutions to construction problems,
- To maintain good relationships with Contractors, being flexible enough but also strict when necessary to achieve the objectives of the Project,
- To carry out any other duty or task that may be assigned by hierarchical superiors.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Have an Associate's or BS degree in a technical field or extensive natural gas/oil industry experience.
- Have strong working knowledge of construction contracts, contractor inspection procedures and construction work sequences for jackets.
- Professional Experience (number of years) 15.
- Experience within project: (number of years): 10.
- Familiar with TotalEnergies General Specifications (GS) and international codes/standards (ASME, AWS, API).
- Conversant with General Arrangement (GA) engineering and structural drawings.
- Ability to work in a team oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
- Capable of proposing project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
- Ability to influence and encourage personnel.
- Good leadership skills and good communication skills
- Good English level mandatory
- Mandarin language is an advantage
- Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
- Computer skills in using programs like (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail communications).
- Familiar with ICAPs and Document Control software
